The world is set to have the largest generation of youth in history. Young people are more connected to each other than ever before and are seeking to create a world that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable for all.

Sustainable YOUTH Challenge
The Sustainable Youth Challenge is a curriculum-linked assignment presenting an opportunity for students to explore, understand, and solve real-world problems. The challenge is designed to educate and engage students with the world's 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and provide opportunities to pioneer innovative solutions that address some of the world's biggest challenges related to agriculture.


Why is this challenge so important?

The Sustainable Youth Challenge incorporates four learning modules that support the 2022 Sustainable Challenge.

LESSON 1
What is Sustainable Development
In Lesson 1, we dive into the concept of sustainable development and view video resources to define the concept and identify the three dimensions of sustainability.
LESSON 2
Getting to Know the SDGs
In Lesson 2, we will explore the fundamentals of the Sustainable Development Goals and explore a variety of learning resources.
LESSON 3
The Unifying Thread
In this lesson we will explore the vital role agriculture plays in achieving many of the Sustainable Development Goals including hunger, climate change and poverty.
LESSON 4
Zero Hunger
In Lesson 4, we will explore the relationship between agriculture and Goal 2: Zero Hunger. This lesson will launch into this year's Sustainable Challenge.
