In Lesson 1, we will explore the fundamentals of the Sustainable Development Goals. We will review the goals set by the United Nations Development Program and explore a variety of resources including the graphic novel, The Planet and the 17 Goals while partaking in group activities and class discussions.

What is Sustainable Development
In Lesson 2, we dive deeper into the concept of sustainable development and view video resources to define the concept and identify the three dimensions of sustainability. We will connect to new learning through discussions and activities.
LESSON 3
Uniting Thread of the SDGs
In Lesson 3 we will explore the interconnected nature of the goals, with a focus on the impact of agriculture and food systems on sustainable development. We will review statistics and interactive web resources to initiate discussion on the role of innovation in achieving the SDGs.
